I have thousands of photos. How do I easily share ALL OF THEM on Amazon Photos?
I recently discovered that my pictures that I have automatically uploaded to Amazon were not uploading anymore. After I fixed it so that the uploading would continue, I had to figure out how to share all of them. So many people had that same question online and NOBODY either understood the question or could give the right answer. Once you get thousands of photos on the server, how do you share them all? There are check boxes next to each picture, there are check boxes next to each folder and each date. But, what if you have hundreds of dates and folders?
I did so many searches and got no help from anyone, which is standard procedure for me. Finally, I figured it out myself.
If you do not aleady have a Sharing Group, you can “Create Group”. See below.
If you have a group already and you want to add pictures to it, click on the group to go inside it.
Once inside, click the Add Photos text and then select “Add from Amazon Photos”. These will be photos you have already uploaded.
Click on the folder you want to share or update.
Click on “Select All”
And the photos will all be selected. Then click on “Add Photos”.
Now, unless you want to add captions to each of thousands of photos, click “Share”.
It may take some time but all the photos that you selected will now be added to your shared folder. They are not moved. They are just shared.
